Africa!!!

On April 30, 2009, my little brother, Kenny, opened his mission call. He was called to serve in the Uganda Kampala mission.

Today, March 27, 2013, my "adopted" little brother, Nate, opened his mission call. He has been called to serve in the Ghana Accra West mission.

I guess I get to send a second little brother on a mission to Africa. Africa must be amazing to get two of the best missionaries ever!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

I have been planning for St. Patrick's Day for a while now...I originally wanted to do a fun dinner, but then decided against it. But some year, I will definitely have a fun St. Patrick's dinner with lots of great ideas. So, aside from planning my outfit, like I do every year, the other thing I did for the holiday was make some fun green cupcakes: Avocado Citrus Cupcakes. I know, they may sound disgusting, but they are amazing! And they are green, so perfect for today. :)

I know it's not way clear, and it's hard to see the green in the cupcakes, but it's really there, and they were very yummy!

Pi Day

I am a math nerd and I will not deny it. It is especially evident on a day like to day...March 14...3/14...like pi...3.14. Today is Pi Day! And these make me happy...

You have to admit...kinda cool! :)
