Now that...was terrible!

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!  Really, that's the only way to describe this game.  The team didn't play well.  The refs were ridiculous.  And to top it off, the fans got out of hand.  I mean, the refs were out of control and called stupid things, but I will completely agree with the fact that they gave the fans a technical foul.  Yep, that's right, the fans got called for a tech.  I am so glad I didn't go to the game, mostly because I wouldn't have wanted to be part of the student section tonight.  So, with that...

Note to the student section...Don't throw things on the court!  And if the refs give you a warning for something, Stop!  Seriously, STOP!  Don't try to tempt the refs because you'll definitely lose.  They, unfortunately, have a fair bit of control.

To the refs:  I'm really struggling with some of the calls I've seen made by the WCC officials.  Relax, and don't be so ticky-tack...it would make everyone feel a little better.

And, finally...to the team: chill out with the 3-point attempts...they aren't working right now (you've made 11 of the last 74 attempts), so don't push it.  Also, I'd like a little bit better free throw percentage...I think getting back to the basics would be a great idea...

Car Wash

I decided today that I love washing my car, and it just makes me happy.  Around Christmas, the forecast constantly said it was going to snow, so I didn't want to wash my car.  But then the forecast would change.  My car got so dirty, and I was disgusted every time I looked at it.  Finally on a beautiful day that reached upper 40's I decided it was time to clean my car.  Apparently everyone else decided that too, because the car washes were very busy.  That day, I realized I love having a clean car.

Today, I wasn't having a great day...in fact, I haven't been having a great week.  While out running errands on my lunch break, I decided again to wash my car.  It surprised me how much I enjoyed it...again.  Maybe washing my car can become a therapy thing for me...a way to cheer me up on a bad day.

Nighttime Snow Storm

Tonight as I was going to bed, I looked out the window to watch the snow storm that decided to come.  It's about 11:30 at night, and so bright outside.  I love these kinds of nights.  The snow is beautiful, falling peacefully to the ground.  I like snow like that...especially when I'm not driving in it.  I tried getting a good picture, but I don't feel like I did...however I tried, so I'll post the attempt.  It was taken without a flash, so it's kind of blurry, but hopefully you get the idea of the how bright it is tonight...

January Hike

Have you ever been on a hike on January 2nd?  I hadn't...until today.  And by hike, I don't mean snow-shoeing hike...I mean normal hike.  But it got up to fifty degrees in Provo, so I went with a few friends on a New Years Hike.  It was actually pretty fun.  Since we were up the canyon, it did get a little chilly, but definitely not bad for January. :)

We hiked to a waterfall just above Bridal Veil Falls.  Since it was January, the falls did have ice, and a lot of icicles.  The guys couldn't help but throw rocks, trying to hit the icicles.  I mean, ice...rocks...guys...of course that's what's going to happen.

Anyways, it was a different way to enjoy my New Years holiday off work, but so much fun!

Oh to be 3!

My brother and his family came out for Christmas and the week following.  He has a 3-year-old daughter.  Aislinn LOVES pink, and princesses, and anything girl.  And, she's hilarious.  She definitely has her own little personality that no one can match.  There's a "beautiful" princess dress at my house in the dress up box.  I rarely saw Aislinn out of this dress.  She couldn't go outside in it (which is okay, because it's December so she didn't go outside much), and she didn't sleep in it.  Seriously, though, my brother and sister-in-law could have saved room and only packed a couple outfits for her for the week and a half long trip.  But, with a dress this beautiful, why not wear it all the time?

Merry Christmas!

It was a great Christmas!  I really enjoyed it being on Sunday this year.  Christmas morning was crazy with lots of people...everyone was home.  I got a 14" bronze Joseph Smith statue.  I love it!  And, it was a total surprise!

Another really fun surprise was from my sister...

Yep, there's another baby coming!  I'm so excited!!!
After church, we went to my Uncle's house in Morgan for dinner.  What a great day...I hope your's was wonderful as well.
